Antonina Grebeniuk – Founder and Director
Antonina has a strong professional background in international tourism, education, and cultural promotion. Before moving to the UK, she successfully managed a travel and cultural exchange company in Kyiv, where she organised heritage, educational, and cultural programmes across Europe. Through this work, she built extensive experience in international partnerships, programme coordination, and cross-cultural engagement, helping to connect people through shared history, language, and cultural experiences.
As Founder and Director, she plays a central role in developing education, cultural, and wellbeing programmes that support integration while preserving Ukrainian identity, language, and heritage. Her professional experience, combined with strong networks across Ukraine and the UK, enables her to build sustainable partnerships with community organisations, local authorities, and cultural institutions. Antonina is passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces where families and children can rebuild confidence, maintain cultural connections, and thrive within their new communities
William Maude-Roxby-Chair Trustee
William serves as Chair Trustee of Ukraine Aid and Welfare, bringing extensive expertise in commercial strategy, supply chain consultancy, and organisational leadership across complex, regulated sectors. Through his professional career, he has supported major national infrastructure and defence programmes, developing strong capabilities in governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic delivery — skills he applies to strengthen the charity’s long-term sustainability and impact.
Alongside his professional work, William is actively involved in the non-profit and community sector. He serves as a director and advisor to several UK charities and community initiatives, where he provides strategic guidance, governance oversight, and operational support. His approach focuses on transparency, strong financial stewardship, and ensuring organisations deliver measurable, meaningful outcomes for the communities they serve.

Tetiana Bezsmertna is a dedicated trustee of Ukraine Aid and Welfare, bringing compassion, professionalism, and strong community focus to the organisation’s work. She actively supports initiatives that provide humanitarian aid, educational opportunities, and cultural support for Ukrainian families displaced by war and those rebuilding their lives in the UK.
Tetiana also brings valuable knowledge and experience from the fashion sector, offering creative insight, presentation skills, and an understanding of personal confidence and identity through culture and self-expression. This perspective supports community projects, events, and youth engagement activities.
Oleksandra Vereshchagina is a committed trustee of Ukraine Aid and Welfare, supporting the charity’s mission to deliver humanitarian aid, education programmes, and community support for Ukrainians displaced by war and rebuilding their lives in the UK.
She brings valuable expertise from the travel industry, including strong organisational skills, logistics coordination, and customer-focused service. Her professional experience supports the planning and delivery of community initiatives, events, and practical support programmes, helping ensure services are accessible, well-organised, and responsive to community needs.
